Scope: Shared displays, dedicated conferencing facilities and distributed audio to support separate meetings and larger Town Hall events within the same space.
Project Brief
Vanquis Bank required an integrated audio visual solution for its offices in Bradford. AV2000 was asked to equip three conference rooms for individual meetings and combined Town Hall events, alongside display installations and the relocation of existing AV equipment elsewhere in several meeting rooms.
The central requirement was flexibility. Each conference room needed to support everyday Microsoft Teams meetings, while the combined space required shared presentation content, presenter and audience camera coverage, and clear audio for people in the room and joining remotely.
The wider project also needed to make effective use of the bank’s existing meeting room systems.
The Solution
Each of the three third floor conference rooms had a 65-inch LG commercial display installed, connected to a Lenovo Microsoft Teams Room system.
Peerless articulated wall brackets allowed the screens to be angled for use as repeater displays when the rooms are combined, supporting both individual meetings and larger events.
For Town Hall use, an 86-inch LG commercial display was chosen to provide the main viewing point, with the same content distributed to the three 65-inch screens through Extron DTP equipment.
An Extron IPCP Pro control processor and dedicated 7-inch TouchLink Pro touch panel was installed to provide central control of the combined AV system and screen switching.
A Yealink MVC860 Microsoft Teams Room system, UVC86 camera equipment and AVHub supported the Town Hall conferencing setup.
The presenter and audience views help remote attendees follow the event, with camera control allowing a choice of room views to suit the presentation or discussion.
The audio combines Sennheiser SpeechLine handheld and lapel radio microphones with two Biamp Parlé ceiling microphone units for presenter and audience pickup.
A TesiraFORTÉ X400 processor manages the audio, including acoustic echo cancellation for Teams calls.
Eight Biamp C-IC6 ceiling speakers, powered by two Tesira AMP-450BP amplifiers, were used to distribute sound across the combined space.
A two-slot charger keeps the radio microphones ready for use.
Beyond the conference suite, we also installed two 75-inch LG displays in the Customer Zone and an 86-inch LG display in reception.
Existing screens and meeting-room systems were removed and reinstalled across other rooms, including the dual-screen boardroom and kitchen breakout area.
