Project Brief
As part of a development refurbishment AV2000 were asked to implement an efficient, user-friendly and future-ready Audio Visual setup to support hybrid meetings, seamless presentations and improved collaboration for meeting spaces.
Meeting Rooms – Google Meet Integration
To streamline and modernise meeting room experiences, the proposed solution centred around Google Meet as the primary video conferencing platform. Each meeting room would be equipped with:
Large format LED screen: Commercial standard LED screens for longevity
Poly Video Sound Bar: An all-in-one video and sound solution offering crystal clear audio and high-definition video.
Poly Touch Screen Panel: Intuitive control interface allowing users to start or join Google Meet calls with a single touch.
This setup greatly the meeting room experience - allowing users to start meeting quickly, with no delays and deliver clear video and full room audio for all meeting participants during video calls.
Open Plan Conference Area – Presentation and Conferencing Setup
To accommodate flexible presentation needs and web-based video conferencing in the open plan area, a comprehensive AV system was proposed, featuring the following components:
Digital Projection: A high quality projector capable of delivering up to a 3 meter wide image, projecting on to a 3m fixed frame screen, providing clear visuals for large group presentations.
Presenter Tracking Camera and Ceiling Microphone: Smart tracking technology ensuring presenters remain in frame and clearly heard during video calls or large in room presentations.
Wireless laptop connection: Wireless Laptop Connection: To provide maximum flexibility and ease of use for presenters, the system includes a Barco ClickShare — enabling users to present from anywhere in the room. Presenters can now connect their laptops effortlessly and conduct video calls without needing HDMI cables, making the setup process quick and seamless.
Distributed Ceiling Speakers: Strategically placed to ensure uniform audio coverage throughout the space. Whether during a call or a local presentation, sound clarity and volume consistency are maintained.
Wireless Digital Microphones: Designed to support both presenter audio and audience participation (Q&A sessions), with integration into the wider AV system to ensure voices are captured and transmitted clearly during hybrid meetings.
Seamless Integration with Google Meet: Supports consistent use of company-standard tools across all spaces.
Improved Collaboration: Enhances communication between local and remote teams with high quality AV support.
Future-Proofed Design: Allows for flexible use of platforms beyond Google Meet, such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom and WebEx - ensuring longevity of investment.
